The Aikido World Alliance is an international organization of cooperating schools of Aikido, recognized by the Aikikai Foundation, World Headquarters.
AWA is currently under the leadership and guidance of Sensei Andrew M. Sato Shihan (7th Dan Aikikai), who started training in Aikido in 1977, under Fumio Toyoda Shihan. Through our partnership of schools, we provide advanced training in the martial art of Aikido, following the methodology and educational heritage developed by Fumio Toyoda Shihan, as it is still followed in the Aikido World Alliance.
Our goal is the continuous improvement of students and instructors in the art of Aikido. The AWA and partner schools in Greece, provide continuously seminars for students and instructors who want to improve their knowledge and skills in Aikido.
Students have the option to participate in seminars and Camps, both in Greece and abroad (Europe and America), according to their needs.
Our students not only enjoy the benefits of exercise in the art of Aikido, but they also have the possibility to develop further qualities like friendship and cooperation and also meet the great opportunity to exchange experiences at international level.
